To Make: 1/2lb. (225G) Andouille sausage, Italian sausage or other spicy smoked sausage, chopped in chunks.
1 lb (450g) shrimp or chicken 1 lge can (796ml) diced tomatoes 5 cups water
Saute sausage in frypan until lightly browned. In lge pot, bring water to boil. Add Jambalaya Mix. Lower heat & simmer for 20 min. or until veg & rice are cooked. Stir occasionally. Add sausage & diced tomatoes. Heat for 5 min. Add shrimp or cooked chicken and cook for another 5 min. Makes 4 – 6 servings.
