To Make: 1 lb (450g) Spicy sausage(Andouille or Chorizo sausage)sliced 6 cups water
Wash red kidney beans in strainer. Place in crock pot with enough water to cover beans, or use a lge pot. In crockpot, cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5-6hrs. In lge pot simmer for 60 min or until beans are tender. Drain beans & set aside. Brown sausage in lge pot. Add beans, water & Louisiana Red Beans & Rice mixture to sausage. Stir. Bring to boil. Lower heat & simmer for 30 min or until tender. Fluff rice with a fork. Makes 6-8 servings
