To Make: 1 lb (450g) hamburger/ground turkey 6 cups water 1 28oz(796ml) diced tomatoes 1 14oz(398ml) tomato sauce 1 10oz (284ml) sliced mushroom (optl)
Place beans & water in lge pot or crock pot(5-6hrs for crk pot)
Simmer for 90min or until beans are tender. Saute meat. Add meat, tomatoes, tomato sauce, mushrooms & Ed’s Classic spice pkg & simmer for 2 hrs, You may need to add water. The longer you simmer, the tastier the chili. You may want to add hot sauce, or sprinkle with shredded cheese, or crushed tortilla chips, or lime wedges, or serve on a bed of rice. Be creative!
Ingredients: Dried onions, red peppers, spices, red kidney and pinto beans.
This chili is an excellent, nutritious, economical dinner. Try serving it on a bed of rice or with biscuits.
