Cook bacon/ham until crisp. Drain off fat. In lge pot, place water &
clam juice mix. Bring to a boil. Add cooked bacon/ham, Creamy Clam Chowder Mix & wine (Optl). Bring to a boil again. Lower heat & simmer for 30 min. or until
veg are tender. Add clams & simmer for 5 min. Add cream & hot sauce(optl). Serve in bowls. Top with oyster crackers (optl). Makes 10 servings.

2 cups light cream 1/4c chopped & fried bacon/ham (125g)
1/2 cup white wine (optl) Dash of hot sauce (optl)
9 cups of clam juice & water combined.

To Use Fresh Clams, add 3/4lb (375g) & 2 tins of clam juice. Be sure to add juice to water to make 9 cups.
